Our living room, to be precise. A 175 year-old former church beautifully converted to a residence, our home is conveniently situated in a lovely rural setting in Haddam, Connecticut, within singing distance of the Connecticut River, almost perfectly centered between Boston and New York City. "House concerts" in our living room have become a cultural high point in the lower Connecticut River Valley. If you enjoy an eclectic variety of music at least distantly related to folk, and the adventure of off-the-beaten-path listening rooms, you will probably enjoy attending a Church House Concert.

Special note: Our Spring, 2009 season was our last. While producing this series since 2001 has been incredibly rewarding, it has taken time away from other creative and business activities we wish to concentrate on. We would love to find another party who is able to carry our vision forward, and we are open to conversations along those lines. Meanwhile, we hope you will seek other venues at which to enjoy the gift of live music!

Our living room, with its high ceiling and four towering antique glass windows, is an incredible setting for the magical intimacy of live music among friends. It may take a bit of extra effort to get here, but the uniqueness of the setting and the quality of the artists we host will make these events well worth your journey.
